Jianna hamilton is a professional dancer and choreographer from Detroit, Michigan and CURRENTLY lives in Brooklyn, New York to continue to expand as a performer and a choreographer. She began dancing at the age of 3 at The Institute of Dance at Marygrove. Studying in various disciplines such as ballet, jazz, and tap. In 2021, she attended  Detroit School of Arts where she trained in disciplines such as hip-hop, contemporary, modern, and west african. While continuing her training, she began creating her own pieces and took interest in choreographing. In March of 2025, she premiered her biggest piece entitled PITBULL, which was awarded the Student Choreography Award and showcased at the Evening of Fine Arts at the Fox Theater. After graduating from Detroit School of Arts, she became a freelance performer and was casted in productions such as Holiday Detroit, The Love Gala, and The Aretha Franklin Tribute, produced by Lisa McCall. In august of 2026, she produced and choreographed her debut production entitled “Au revoir”. Jianna “Hamil10”believes thatchoreography is a way to heal and connect.
